Month 3 Day 2:: Cardiologist Update & Big Smiles!

::Cardiologist::
We went the cardiologist on Friday and Giselle got another sonogram.  The hole between her two chambers still hasn't closed.  It doesn't look much smaller either. But the doctor says he will give it more time because it doesn't appear to be affecting her weight gain too terribly.  She is gaining an average of 14 grams a day which he said is good but he would like to see that go up.  If for some reason it starts going down, we will have to start talking about the surgery.  We will have a better idea after our appointment on Dec 3.  I know they said the surgery is simple and easy but I'm still really nervous!  He said there is a less than 1% chance of something happening... so I told him there was a .03% chance she had Down Syndrome, remember?  Statistics are wasn't on me now lol.  But we are going to keep our fingers crossed and just keep the little piggy full and hopefully she will heal her hole herself.

So when Giselle wakes up, she is super awake and lately has been full of smiles.  But nothing in response to anything we were doing, just random smiles.  Well, she is now starting to smile when we are playing with her! It's so cute. Matt ran and grabbed the camera of course, so enjoy!
